Lehmann “Autopost” mail truck with driver, locking doors—red version

These mail trucks were made in Germany by Lehmann from 1907-35 and came in two colors. This is the rare red version. It depicts a mail delivery man driving an electric truck. The body is identical to the very common “AHA” van made by Lehmann.  This mail truck is designated as EPL 575, while the common “AHA” is EPL 550. The direction of play travel is set by the steering wheel for right, left or straight.
