This is one of the last tin windup toys made by Lehmann in Germany. These mass produced toys were designated EPL 852 and were made from 1954-62. This mint toy and box still have the $2.00 price written on the top in pencil. This shows a cowboy driver attempting to steer a zebra cart, much like the earlier Lehmann Zikra and Dare Devil toys. It is marked “Made in Western Germany” as was the requirement of the post-war era.
