This was one of the earliest Lehmann toys, believed to have been produced in small numbers between 1889 and 1895. It is one of the few Lehmann toys not assigned an “EPL” number. It features “Miss Blondin,” named after a famous tight rope daredevil dancer of the era. According to the Cieslik book “Lehmann Toys,” only a few of these balancing toys have survived. The toy is all original with no repairs. Nothing is missing and the toy works. The extremely rare original box is also free of repair.
