This fun toy was designated EPL 495 and was made from 1904-35. Here the father attempts to steer the car while the “naughty” son interferes. Both are shown in period attire. This is the early version for the US market that comes with the name of the company lawyer from Washington, DC prominently displayed on the toy. The more common versions do not have this language. The box shown is really nice with exceptional graphics, and it still has the Lehmann tie string and metal clasp.
