Lehmann “Playing Mice” chase each other up spiral pole

Here the two mice chase each other up and down by gravity around a spiral course.  EPL 427 was made from 1898-1926.  At the end of the production run, the mice became the object of desire in the toy “Nina” where the cat chases a mouse.
