Lehmann Roll Mops Rolling Ball — eccentric motion upon a winding in Plain Box

These colorful 3.5 inch balls were made by Lehmann in Germany from 1929 to 1938 and were called EPL 764. Upon a winding the ball rolls for quite a while wildly across the floor in an unpredictable, eccentric way making it hard to chase down.

The box bottom has 100 year old writing of a name and address in Liverpool.

This toy is shown with its original Lehmann box in great shape with the plain label.
