This toy is also called “Bucking Bronco” or “Buffalo Bill” and bears EPL number 625. Buffalo Bill was traveling circus act with a western theme and that was the genesis of this Lehmann toy which was made from 1909-1945. The bronco moves around in a realistic manner upon a winding and succeeds in “bucking” or throwing the rider. It is an impressive sight to behold. Shown with the original box with bright, colorful lid label. These came in two versions, one with a white horse as shown here, and the other less common version has a brown horse.
