This toy was made in Germany by Lehmann from 1917-38 and is designated EPL 680. It is one of only two Lehmann toys to bear the trademark designs shown on each wheel, a combination of two Lehmann trademarks that were not thereafter used. It depicts a man in period attire driving a two wheeled cart pulled by a donkey. The left wheel is deliberately off center to make the ride a bumpy erratic one, as you would expect using a donkey.
