This striking toy was made from 1914-1941 in Germany by Lehmann (designated EPL 659) and uses a very complicated mechanism. It shows a warrior with clubs standing on long slats turning a somersault while fully extending. These came with two different clothing schemes and were expensive toys at the time. This one is the polka dot version. The clothes and original box are in exceptional original condition. The box has the rare paper insert with instructions for use.
