“Tap Tap” is one of the most common of all Lehmann toys (EPL 560) and was made from 1907-1945. It is a gardener hastily pushing a cart with spoke wheels. With realistic leg motion, this toy was a big seller. This toy was made in different color schemes for the general public. But small production runs were made by special order as advertising items. That is what this toy is, a promotional toy for Seaconnet Coal Company of Providence, Rhode Island. A rare find.
